Photographing handmade crafts for a listing
Show handmade crafts clearly with consistent light, scale and detail photographs that represent the finished item honestly.

Show what a buyer needs to know
Photograph the front, back, finish and relevant details. Include a clear scale reference or dimensions in the listing. Do not rely on a decorative scene that makes the item's actual size difficult to judge.
Show handmade variation or visible imperfections where they affect expectations. Keep props separate from what is included and explain the difference in the listing. Editing should not change colours or hide faults while implying an accurate product record.
Make the setup repeatable
Mark where the item and camera sit. Use the same background and framing for a small collection, then add individual detail shots. Support the camera if movement is making images soft.
