Information used on this site

The night-mode control stores one preference in the visitor’s browser so the chosen appearance can persist. Country choices, saved deals, products and local alert preferences are stored in that browser. Optional account synchronisation is described below. Standard hosting, security and consent systems may process technical request information such as an IP address, browser details and timestamps to deliver and protect the service.

Your For You choices and shopping missions

For You uses the country, interests, followed shops or brands, product requests and separate budgets you choose on this site. It can use your saved items as a weaker relevance signal. A request sends these choices to our catalogue matching service to return current candidates; that service does not save the request as a personal profile. It cannot read searches you made elsewhere or your browser history. Pasted Tailored Deals links identify an exact catalogue page; other retailer websites are not fetched through this form.

Remembering your For You choices and shopping missions is optional and off initially. If you turn it on, this browser stores the relevant choices, dismissals, shopping intentions, budgets, progress and limited previous-selection information until you reset them or clear site data. Without that choice they stay in the open page. A shared device uses the same browser choices; private browsing, blocked storage or another device may not retain them. Optional account synchronisation of Saved items remains a separate feature.

You can edit, pause, dismiss, reset or export these choices in the relevant tool. A downloaded backup may contain your shopping plans and budgets: keep it somewhere you trust. Import merges valid choices after your action. A mission share link contains the selected template, without your private budget or completion details. Caching stable site assets speeds loading; it does not change your browser homepage, search results or the websites you visit.

A watchlist without signing in

Saving a watch on Watchlist requires your explicit choice to create a random, secure browser key lasting up to 90 days. It is inaccessible to page scripts and separate from analytics. The server stores a hash of this key, consent dates, exact item references, target prices, chosen status and frequency, dated supplier observations and resulting update records. Ordinary visits to the watchlist do not create this key. The feature does not require an account.

The monitor checks bounded groups of saved watches when the existing source update process runs. Comparable source changes can appear in your watchlist and For You. Source dates and evidence limits are shown; a check is not proof of the retailer’s current checkout price. Delivery, eligibility and additional charges remain unknown unless supplied. Promotions are followed as changes to terms, separately from exact product price targets.

Browser push is a further optional permission. If enabled, the server stores the subscription endpoint and encryption information described below. Guest watch alerts default to at most one delivery attempt per device in seven days; you can choose two. A hard maximum of two applies across guest and account notifications together. An accepted push request does not prove display or opening. Email delivery is not configured for this watchlist.

Pause or remove an item, mark it as purchased yourself, switch notifications off, export a backup or delete this browser’s watchlist on its page. Deletion removes the guest’s watches, update records and push subscription. Shared catalogue observations may remain, and a minimal endpoint hash and attempt date can remain briefly to enforce the device’s notification limit. Clearing browser data removes access to the key; it is not the same as using the server deletion control. After the key expires the monitor excludes that guest immediately. Later monitor passes remove expired or revoked guest records in bounded batches, so physical deletion can happen later. Old unlinked notification-limit entries are also removed in bounded batches after seven days. Contact us if you lose access and need help removing earlier records. Importing a backup requires a new action and does not import browser push permission.

Optional community contributions

Community supports useful offer reactions, comments, submitted finds, reports and feedback. Participating after the separate checkbox creates a random secure browser key for up to 90 days. We retain its hash, the contribution, any display name you choose, item references, submission dates and moderation status. Please avoid personal details in public text. Comments and submitted finds are reviewed before publication; general experience feedback and reports are private to the owner. Reaction counts describe recorded browser actions, not verified purchases or a count of unique people.

You can remove your contributions or delete this browser’s community data from the community controls while its key is available. Published and pending contributions otherwise remain until you or the owner remove them; expiry of the browser key does not automatically delete public text. Contact us if you have lost the key. Short-lived counters limit repeated submissions. Contribution recognition reflects recorded, approved contributions and does not represent cash, retailer discounts or promised perks.

Optional measurement across return visits

A separate unchecked choice enables a random first-party browser identifier for up to 90 days. This measurement also requires your existing analytics permission. It records broad actions such as saves, follows, comparisons, retailer clicks, requested alerts, feedback and voluntary purchase self-reports, with broad entry channels and dates. It does not collect search wording, full referring URLs, email addresses or off-site browsing history. Recorded self-reports and clicks remain separate from retailer-confirmed orders and commission.

Where an optional experiment is enabled, its identifier, version, assigned variant, exposure and permitted outcome can be recorded. Turning this measurement off stops new collection and requests deletion of this browser’s measurement identifier, events and assignments. Records expire after 90 days; subsequent requests remove expired rows in bounded batches, so physical deletion may happen later. Browsing, recommendations, saves and watches work with measurement off.

Optional sign-in and synchronised favourites

Browsing and device-only saving do not require sign-in. If you choose Sign in with ChatGPT, the hosting platform supplies an account identifier and email address. Tailored Deals uses a site-specific hash of that identifier to keep account records separate. It does not receive your ChatGPT password or conversation history through this sign-in feature.

On Saved, choosing Refresh sends up to 20 saved page references and your selected country to Tailored Deals to look up public catalogue details. These page references identify the deals or products you chose. Saved titles, retailer labels and any notes are not sent as separate fields. This explicit read does not turn on account sync or monitoring. Those remain separate choices.

Account synchronisation starts only when you enable it on Saved. It stores up to 100 saved-item references, including the item type, exact page slug, saved title, retailer and saved date, with a version and update time. Your browser keeps a local copy and queues changes while offline. Clearing browser storage does not delete the account copy. Turning sync off on one device stops that device syncing; it does not delete the account copy or stop other devices.

Account features use private responses and are excluded from the public page cache. Short-lived request counts associated with the hashed account identifier limit repeated changes; the counter resets each minute. Account records remain until you remove them using the account-data control on Saved or ask us to help.

After account-data deletion, we retain only a minimal reset marker for saved-item synchronisation: the hashed account identifier, a reset number and its timestamp. This prevents older queued changes on another device from recreating the deleted favourites. Synchronisation requires a new explicit enable action after a reset.

Previous email sign-ups

Email sign-ups closed on 22 October 2026. The information below describes previously collected records and how to request their removal. No new registrations are accepted.

The public signup box lets you enter an email address without signing in. Joining is optional and separate from saving an offer, account sync and browser notifications. With your explicit checkbox consent, we record the address, your country choice, any selected shopping categories, the consent wording version and the request and expiry dates. A country choice is optional; No preference records all countries.

These requests remain pending and unverified. Entering an address does not establish that the person submitting it owns that mailbox. Email sending is not configured: the form sends no confirmation email, welcome message or weekly digest. The owner can review and export current pending interest, labelled as unverified and not ready for campaigns. Mailbox verification and a working unsubscribe process are needed before this public list is used for sending.

A new registration returns a private removal receipt, held in the open page’s memory. The removal button can withdraw a registration created by that request; it cannot remove an earlier registration made by someone else or in another browser. Repeating an address does not reveal or change its earlier signup, preferences or withdrawal. After closing the page, or for an earlier request, contact Ryanjowitt@admintailoreddeals.info for help. Your entered email address and removal receipt are not placed in links.

Pending registrations stop appearing in current interest exports after 90 days. Later form and export requests remove expired addresses, preferences, consent records and receipt links in bounded batches, so physical removal can happen after the 90-day point. Successfully withdrawing a registration with its owning receipt removes those details immediately. A small record containing a keyed fingerprint of the address, its status and administrative dates remains to prevent duplicates and the silent return of expired or withdrawn entries. It is not an active mailing-list entry.

Public signup uses short-lived request counters derived from a protected hash of the network address and request period, plus overall request limits. The counters do not store the raw address and are removed in bounded batches after expiry. This feature does not add a signup-tracking cookie.

The separate account email option on Saved uses the address supplied by your ChatGPT sign-in, together with separate marketing consent, country, categories and timestamps. It is not an email confirmation-link process. Withdrawing account email consent excludes that record from new account subscriber exports; its withdrawal timestamp remains until account-data deletion. Deleting your Tailored Deals account data does not remove a registration made through the public signup box. Use that request’s removal control or contact us for the public registration.

Optional browser notifications

Push notifications require a separate action and your browser’s permission. An iPhone also requires the website to be added to the Home Screen on a supported iOS version. Installation instructions are on Add to your phone. Adding the site to your phone does not by itself opt you into marketing.

If you enable push, Tailored Deals stores the browser subscription endpoint, encryption public key, authentication value, hashed endpoint identifier, account reference and subscription timestamps. These let the browser’s push service deliver an encrypted message to your device. We record campaign and delivery-attempt information, including the service response; an accepted request does not prove that a message was displayed or opened.

The current system supports owner-selected messages about offers saved to your account, with at most two attempts per device in seven days. It does not automatically monitor every price or promise an alert before an offer ends. You can turn notifications off on Saved or revoke permission in the browser. Deleting your Tailored Deals account data removes subscriptions and associated delivery records. An already submitted notification may still arrive.

Saved alert preferences and form limits

If you save a server alert preference, the site sets a random browser cookie so a later removal request can be matched to that browser. This cookie is separate from Analytics, lasts up to 90 days and is inaccessible to page scripts. Clearing it prevents the site from recognising that browser’s earlier preferences. These earlier staged alert preferences do not enable email, SMS or push delivery; optional account push subscriptions use the separate permission process above.

Feedback and alert forms use short-lived hashed request counters to limit abuse. These counters use the network address supplied by the hosting platform and are removed after their expiry when another form request is processed. They are separate from the browser value used to control an alert preference.

Analytics and advertising

Google AdSense and the direct Google Analytics 4 code are present sitewide. Analytics is installed in each page’s head without a Google Tag Manager container. Google’s Privacy & messaging service presents consent choices where required and controls whether advertising and analytics storage can be used. Google Consent Mode starts storage as denied until the available choice is updated. The Awin Publisher MasterTag loads only when the relevant advertising-storage consent state is granted or not applicable, to support affiliate-link attribution and approved Awin tools. Separately from optional Google storage, Tailored Deals records successful page views after filtering recognised crawlers and previews. Those records contain only the page path without its query string, a broad referrer category, country, device class and a daily pseudonymous visitor value. They do not store the search wording. The scheduled site-maintenance process is configured to delete records older than 90 days; completed maintenance is recorded in the owner dashboard.

When analytics consent is granted, an intentional outbound click can also send the offer identifier, item type and input kind to Tailored Deals. The server uses the same daily rotating visitor hash as its existing click records. This additional table does not retain raw network addresses, browser headers, search text or email addresses, and does not create a new tracking cookie or persistent visitor identifier. Records older than 90 days are removed in bounded cleanup batches. This is behavioural evidence, not proof that a visitor is human or made a purchase. Withdrawing analytics consent stops new interaction events.

Ask DEX searches

Opening an Ask DEX results page sends the search wording in its web address. New application search-statistics records can contain interpreted market, currency, result counts, whether there were no results and the time, without retaining search wording or exact budget in that database. Older records may still contain a shortened, partially redacted copy of search wording and an interpreted budget. That earlier redaction did not remove every kind of personal information. The existing cleanup attempts to remove records older than 90 days when another search is recorded; this is not confirmation that historical cleanup has completed. These database limits do not change the search wording in the web address or browser history, or establish what hosting systems or separate analytics providers retain. Do not enter personal or sensitive information into search.

Affiliate links

Following a retailer link takes the visitor to a third-party site and may allow the affiliate network and retailer to attribute a purchase. Tailored Deals records the item, placement, broad market and device class for that outbound visit using a daily pseudonymous visitor value. It ignores HEAD requests, common previews and known crawlers, and uses the site-maintenance process to remove records older than 90 days. The retailer and affiliate network’s privacy and cookie policies govern activity after the visitor leaves Tailored Deals.

Your browser choices

The Privacy & cookie choices control in the footer asks Google to reopen the available consent choices. Visitors can also clear theme, saved-item and consent preferences using their browser’s site-data controls. Blocking third-party tracking may affect attribution but does not prevent browsing Tailored Deals.

To delete the saved items, newsletter details and notification data held against your Tailored Deals sign-in, use the reviewed deletion control on Saved. This does not delete your ChatGPT account or the site’s catalogue. Device-only data can be removed separately in your browser. For help with personal data, contact Ryanjowitt@admintailoreddeals.info.
