Check used gaming hardware, account restrictions and included accessories before deciding the price is good value.
Ask for the exact console revision or accessory model and a list of included items. Compare against a complete working setup, not only the headline price. Missing controllers, power supplies or required cables can remove the apparent saving.

Test the functions you need
Where possible, test power, display output, controller connection, disc reading if relevant and network access. Check buttons and sticks through a suitable menu or game. A console that reaches its home screen has not necessarily passed every useful check.
Ask about repairs, overheating, liquid damage and recurring faults. Look for a clear condition description and written support terms from the seller. Do not open the console or attempt electrical repairs during a viewing.
Keep accounts separate
Do not pay extra for a seller's personal account or assume their digital purchases will transfer. Check the platform's official account and licence rules. The buyer should set up their own account and security arrangements.
