Configuration checklist: • Define the action the agent needs to perform • Choose a connector, prompt, flow, REST API or other supported tool • Add and authenticate the connection • Give the tool a precise name and description • Configure required inputs and useful outputs • Limit permissions to what the action needs • Handle missing data and failure responses • Test explicit and automatic tool selection • Review licensing, data policy and Copilot credit impact • Publish only after end-to-end validation
