From the video description
Amplify and Normalize both change audio level, but they do not do the same job. Lesson 6 explains when each effect is useful, how peak level relates to clipping and why loudness normalisation is a separate tool.
You’ll learn: • Amplify by a chosen dB amount • Set a new peak amplitude • Normalise peak level across one or more tracks • Remove DC offset with Normalize • Preserve relative level between tracks • Leave sensible headroom • When to use Loudness Normalization for a LUFS target
Peak normalisation does not automatically make different recordings sound equally loud.
