How to use Tailored Deals

Getting started, step by step

1. Choose your shopping country. Open Countries and check the market and currency shown on a listing.
2. Find a starting point. Browse deals and voucher codes, look for a specific item in Products, or describe what you need to Ask DEX.
3. Open the details. Read the supplied description, dates, eligibility and DEX evidence. A listing or search match is not proof that an offer works.
4. Compare what you would actually buy. Match the model or variant and include delivery, required fees and any recurring charges.
5. Keep a shortlist if useful. Use Save, then return to Saved items. Saving does not reserve a price or stock.
6. Confirm with the retailer. Open the retailer link, check the final item and basket total, and only pay when the terms suit you.

Choose a country and narrow your search

Start with a retailer, item, model or voucher code. Use the available category, retailer, country and price filters to narrow the results. If nothing matches, remove a filter or try a simpler term; an empty result does not establish that no retailer sells the item.

Your shopping country filters supplied records. It does not convert prices or confirm delivery to your address. A Global label reflects the supplied market information, not a promise of worldwide delivery. Changing the page language does not change your shopping country.

Read the displayed currency and scope on each page. A budget against a listed price may exclude delivery and other charges. Check the retailer’s actual delivery area, currency and terms before relying on the result.

Check a deal or voucher code

A promotion may apply automatically, require a voucher code or have another activation step. If a code is listed, copy it exactly and check that the retailer applies it to the intended basket before payment.

• Check the supplied start and end dates. A future end date only describes the supplied window; the retailer may change or withdraw the promotion earlier.
• Read minimum spend, selected-item exclusions, new-customer rules, market restrictions and whether the code can be combined with another offer.
• Check whether using the code changes another discount or delivery charge. Compare the final total, not only the advertised percentage.

A source update does not extend an expired offer. Missing or conflicting dates are not proof that an offer is current. An expired or unconfirmed listing may remain available for reference. If the saving is missing or unclear at checkout, leave the purchase incomplete and ask the retailer.

Compare the exact product and total cost

Match the brand, model, size, colour, pack quantity, condition and what is included. For a subscription or contract, check the upfront charge, monthly amount, term and return conditions. Similar names or a retailer SKU alone do not establish the same variant across sellers.

Read whether the amount is a source-listed price, a monthly charge or another price basis, and when the source was updated. Supplied stock information can change and is not an independent stock check. Where a specification, delivery charge or current availability is missing, treat it as unknown.

DEX Review Required

The retained source record has not passed every required publication check. Being browseable or having a retailer link does not certify it as a current offer.

DEX Listed End Date Passed or DEX Source Marks Withdrawn

The supplied deadline has passed or the source records withdrawal. The original listing remains available for reference; check any replacement with the retailer.

The date label Listed dates only; offer unconfirmed describes a supplied window, not an independent check. Listed start date is future means the supplied start has not arrived. Listed end date passed or A supplied end date passed means a supplied deadline has passed, even if another date differs.

Offer deadline unconfirmed, Offer dates unconfirmed, Offer timing unconfirmed and Offer dates need confirmation identify missing, imprecise or conflicting date information. Source marks offer ended records a source status even when the date does not independently establish an elapsed retailer deadline.

DEX Source Checked

In the evidence centre, a named source supported a particular claim at a recorded time. This is different from a checkout test.

DEX Price Drop

The evidence-centre definition requires dated prices for the same variant and market. Do not confuse it with the source-price comparison labelled DEX Listed Saving.

DEX Expired

This is the evidence centre’s expiry term. Read the particular outcome and date; it is not a positive verification result.

Save a shortlist and keep a backup

Device saves start in this browser without an account. Clearing site storage, ending a private-browsing session or switching browsers can leave you without that copy. A saved link and basic item details do not reserve a price or guarantee stock.

1. Open Saved items to revisit or remove items and choose up to three for comparison. Reopen each listing and check the retailer before buying.
2. Use Download saved items before clearing browser data. Import saved items merges a valid backup with existing device saves rather than replacing them. The backup does not contain prices, accounts or alert permissions.
3. If you want an account copy, open Account sync, sign in with ChatGPT and choose Enable sync. Signing in alone does not enable sync. An imported backup will also sync if you have enabled that option.

Saving does not subscribe you to emails or enable notifications. Email preferences and browser notifications have separate controls. Email delivery has not launched; an email signup is not a promise that a digest or alert will arrive. Read the privacy information before choosing account, email or notification features.

Use Ask DEX as a catalogue search

Describe the item, retailer, market or budget you have in mind. Ask DEX searches supplied Tailored Deals catalogue records. It does not search the live web, confirm stock or complete checkout.

The main results can include expired offers or inactive products. Budget limits apply to listed product prices in the matching currency, before delivery and other charges. The separate Find it with DEX box uses narrower listing checks, and each message starts a new search.

Read the reason shown for a match and the listing’s evidence. A result’s position is not proof that it is the cheapest, independently tested or suitable for you. Check the exact model or variant yourself, especially when results have similar names.

Keep searches about the product or task. Do not put passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information into a search. The privacy page explains the site’s published data practices; the editorial policy explains how content and recommendations are presented.

Buy with the retailer and check its terms

Tailored Deals publishes information and links. The retailer handles the purchase, payment, delivery, cancellation, return and refund. Tailored Deals cannot access your order or take payment for the item.

Before paying, check the seller, exact item, final total, delivery date, recurring commitments and return conditions. Use the retailer’s contact details or your order confirmation for an order problem.

Report a problem or get help

Include the Tailored Deals URL, retailer, country, when you saw it and a supporting public source if available.
