Fishing in wet weather: prepare for waiting outdoors
Plan a wet-weather fishing session with suitable clothing, secure shelter and a clear decision about when to stop.
Check the forecast, venue conditions and water-safety advice before travelling. Standing or sitting beside water in bad weather is not the same as a short walk through rain. Cancel or change plans when conditions exceed your experience or the venue's guidance.
