Shared-house purchase planner

Before anyone buys shared equipment, make one list of what the household already has. Record which items come with the property, which belong to a housemate and which are genuinely missing. This helps turn several separate shopping lists into an agreed set of gaps.

Use names or initials only with the people involved and agree ownership before dividing a cost. An item can be available to share without becoming jointly owned. Keep the purchase decision, spending limit and move-out plan together so everyone can see what they are agreeing to.
