Affiliate source control

Source files and imports

This page records the affiliate source files and feed endpoints used to maintain Tailored Deals. Public notes are shown here; protected account exports and credentials are never published.

Automation status

Awin, Gmail, ClickBank, Rakuten and Impact imports are wired into a protected weekly refresh job. The site has a secret-protected import endpoint and a scheduled-worker handler; each network runs only when its required runtime credentials are present. Affiliate API keys are never published in page code or links.

Products source
Awin Darwin and ClickBank Products API
Offers source
Awin Offers API, AWIN-labelled Gmail, Rakuten Offers API and Impact Deals API
Frequency target
Daily lifecycle/link batch · weekly network imports
Safety control
Secret protected, rate-aware, retry-safe and quarantined

Each weekly run exhausts eligible pages within network caps, preserves exact source IDs and tracked links, keeps existing URLs intact, skips duplicates and records inserted, skipped, quarantined and error counts. Expiry and link-health maintenance runs independently.

Open source endpoint
Gmail

Gmail AWIN-labelled offer emails

Protected email-to-deal validation endpoint installed

AWIN-labelled Gmail records can enter the protected validation endpoint. Exact retailer, useful description, source dates and an HTTPS tracked URL are required; failed rows are quarantined rather than published.

ClickBank

ClickBank marketplace products

Weekly importer installed; runtime key and Products API permissions required

The weekly importer can pull from ClickBank's Products API when a runtime key has Products access and an account nickname is available or discoverable. Rows without a genuine product image, useful description, positive price and HTTPS destination are quarantined.

Rakuten

Rakuten Advertising Offers API

Weekly importer installed; runtime OAuth credentials required

The weekly job can request a Rakuten access token, call the Offers API, import voucher and promotion rows as deal pages, and skip existing records so current URLs stay intact.

Open source endpoint
Impact

Impact Deals API

Connected to the protected importer; live readiness is shown in the Control Centre

The Impact code path exhausts eligible API pages within its configured cap, respects rate-limit responses and quarantines missing or implausibly distant expiries. Runtime account SID and Auth Token values are never exposed in site code.

How new files are added

  1. Export, download or receive the affiliate feed from Awin, Gmail, ClickBank, Rakuten, Impact or another approved network.
  2. Validate the required fields: retailer, title, description, date, destination URL, category, market and tracking link.
  3. Skip duplicates by promotion ID, product key, URL fingerprint and voucher-code/title match.
  4. Score publication and SEO eligibility separately: strong rows may publish and index, useful medium rows publish with noindex, and poor rows quarantine.

For public feeds, use the data documentation. For correction requests, use the corrections page.
