Assess the live FATMAX sale before choosing a tool
Machine Mart FATMAX sale: price the complete tool basket
Machine Mart’s Stanley FATMAX sale is live, with individual tools and battery accessories displayed at reduced prices. The useful question is what you would need to pay for a complete working setup, because a bare-tool price can omit equipment a first-time buyer still needs.
This offer review records selected GBP prices observed on 24 October 2026 and a basket method for comparing them. It does not rate tool performance or recommend a tool for a task it has not been checked to perform. Existing FATMAX owners and people starting without batteries have different purchase decisions.

Use exact models from the sale page
The retailer displayed the SFMCW220B-XJ random orbital sander bare unit at £49.99 including VAT, a V20 2.0Ah battery at £19 and the SFMCB14 charger at £22 including VAT. Those separate lines total £90.99 before delivery. The retailer also listed a two-piece SFMCK461M2S kit with two 4Ah batteries, charger and soft bag at £159 including VAT.
These baskets do not contain equivalent tools and must not be ranked solely by their totals. The comparison shows why contents matter: a kit might supply things you do not need, while a bare unit might require extras. Open the exact model page for current stock and included equipment before using any price as a purchase decision.
Write two lists for an owner and a new buyer
If you already own suitable equipment, record its exact model and the manufacturer’s compatibility information. Do not assume that batteries fit merely because a voltage or a brand name looks familiar. Keep the cost of replacing worn or unsuitable equipment in the comparison if that replacement would actually be needed.
A buyer without compatible batteries should list every required component separately. Check the manufacturer’s recommended battery and charger for the intended tool and use. The three-line example is arithmetic from displayed prices, not a compatibility certification or a claim that the 2.0Ah battery is the right choice for every job.
Match the purchase to one real project
Write down the material, finish and work you expect the tool to handle, then compare the model’s documented capabilities. Include any appropriate consumables and safety equipment in your project budget. A sale on a tool is not evidence that it is the correct method for a particular task.
Decide whether buying is justified for the amount of work planned. An existing tool, a suitable loan or a hire arrangement may cover a one-off need. If purchasing still makes sense, compare complete baskets for the same job. Keep an unrelated mower or kit out of the decision just because its headline saving is larger.
Read the campaign window without treating it as reserved stock
The source record lists 15 October to 30 November 2026, with an end timestamp of 23:49 UTC. The retailer’s sale page states that sale lines are available while they last. No voucher code is supplied and no sitewide discount is implied by this promotion.
Check delivery, returns and the final amount on the exact products you choose. Keep the model codes and contents with the receipt so the delivered goods can be reconciled. The retailer’s was-price is its own comparison, not an independently observed historical minimum. This review confirms visible promotion details and an approved affiliate route; it does not confirm an order, code redemption or tool test.
