Check a product variant before comparing prices
Price comparisons are useful only when the listings describe the same variant and supplied condition.
Keep the exact model code beside your search. Colour, capacity and generation can change what is included even when two product titles look almost identical.

Record the complete identifier
Copy the maker’s model number and any relevant suffix. Check size, capacity and colour separately. A retailer’s shortened title may omit a detail that explains the apparent price difference.
Compare supplied condition
Read whether the item is new, refurbished, used or sold with damaged packaging. Check the condition description and included accessories. Do not treat a similar image as evidence that the contents or support match.
Check the seller and delivery region
Identify who sells and fulfils the order. Confirm delivery to your address and any stated regional restrictions. A marketplace listing can involve a different seller from the website whose logo appears in the page header.
Compare the basket total
Use the same quantity and delivery timing. Check optional extras before payment. If a cheaper listing remains unclear about the exact variant, ask the seller rather than assuming missing specifications match the more expensive product.
Your next steps
- Write down the requirement that matters most for product comparison before comparing listings.
- Confirm the exact item, total cost and delivery terms in the retailer basket.
