Measure chairs where they meet the table

Compare surfaces and complete the set carefully

Read the tabletop's care instructions for heat, moisture, cleaning and protective mats. A surface suitable for dining may still need particular care when the table doubles as a work or craft area. Check the guarantee for the exact model without assuming that everyday wear is covered unconditionally. Confirm what assembly is needed and whether package dimensions fit the delivery route. Keep the existing chairs until the new table has been checked for fit, then replace only chairs that present a real problem. After the first extended meal, note whether serving and movement felt comfortable before buying additional seating. The right table supports your ordinary household first and provides a workable larger arrangement when you genuinely need it.
