Storing a bicycle in a small home
Choose bike storage by access, wall or floor suitability and the space needed to move the bike safely.
Measure the complete bike and the path into its storage area. Include handlebar width, doors and the space needed to turn. The smallest rack on a product page is not necessarily the easiest arrangement to use after a journey.

Try the position before buying
Mark the proposed footprint on the floor. Check that it leaves entrances and escape routes clear. If storing vertically, confirm you can lift and control the bike comfortably without damaging walls or nearby possessions.
A floor stand avoids wall fixings but must suit the bike's wheel and weight. A wall rack depends on a suitable structure and correct installation. Get competent help for uncertain wall materials or load-bearing fixings.
Protect the usable space
