Product description

Black flutes, warm brass. A bedroom set in wire-brushed black oak veneer, with fluted panels on every piece and brass-tone half-moon pulls.Every piece shares one idea: narrow rounded flutes set inside a thin flat border. They run up the tall headboard and across the low footboard, over both nightstand drawers and all eight dresser drawers, and along the band that crowns the square mirror, so the room reads as one calm, textured whole. The black finish is wire-brushed over oak veneer, which opens the grain so faint charcoal lines show through a matte surface. The bed is built to look open: the headboard panel stops 10 inches above the side rails, and the footboard stays low at under 26 inches, so a large frame never feels heavy. Each drawer on the case pieces has one small half-moon pull on its top edge, the top drawers are lined in black felt for watches and jewelry, and the drawers are joined with dovetails. Pair it with white linen and pale stone for sharp contrast, or with cognac leather and plaster walls for a warmer room. What's included 4-Piece Set: The bed, one two-drawer nightstand, the eight-drawer dresser and its square mirror. 5-Piece Set: The bed, one two-drawer nightstand, the eight-drawer dresser, its square mirror and the five-drawer chest. The dresser is also sold on its own as our Agordo dresser, the nightstand as our Isili nightstand and the chest as our Bardolino chest, so a second matching nightstand is easy to add.Details Included: 4-Piece Set: bed, one nightstand, dresser and mirror. 5-Piece Set: adds the chest Bed, Queen: 63.75" W x 85.75" L x 60" H (162 x 218 x 152 cm); inside 60.75" x 81" for a standard Queen mattress Bed, King: 79.75" W x 85.75" L x 60" H (203 x 218 x 152 cm); inside 76.75" x 81" for a standard Eastern King mattress Headboard / footboard heights: Headboard 60" (152 cm), with a 10" (25 cm) open gap under the fluted panel; footboard 25.75" (65 cm); side rails 6.5" (17 cm) tall, about 6" (15 cm) off the floor; slats on center support legs Nightstand: 28.5" W x 18.25" D x 26.5" H (72 x 46 x 67 cm); 2 equal drawers, each 22.25" x 13" x 6.25" inside (57 x 33 x 16 cm), the top one felt-lined; 5.5" (14 cm) under the base Dresser: 66.25" W x 18.25" D x 38" H (168 x 46 x 97 cm); 8 drawers in two columns of four: the two top drawers 28.25" x 12.75" x 3.5" inside (72 x 32 x 9 cm) and felt-lined, the six below 28.25" x 12.75" x 5.25" inside (72 x 32 x 13 cm); 5.5" (14 cm) under the base Mirror: 36" W x 1.5" D x 36" H (91 x 4 x 91 cm); glass about 32" x 30" (81 x 76 cm); fluted top band Chest (5-piece): 36.25" W x 18.25" D x 56" H (92 x 46 x 142 cm); 5 drawers: the top one 30.25" x 12.75" x 5" inside (77 x 32 x 13 cm) and felt-lined, the four below 30.25" x 12.75" x 7.25" inside (77 x 32 x 18 cm); 5.5" (14 cm) under the base Material: Rubberwood, oak veneer, plywood and MDF, with some polyresin parts Finish: Black, wire-brushed, matte Hardware: Half-moon (demi-lune) metal pulls in a brushed brass tone, one per drawer Glides / Joinery: Dovetail drawer joinery; metal ball-bearing glides on the dresser Natural character: The brushed oak grain under the black finish shows more on some pieces than on others Care: Clear dust from the flutes with a soft dry brush; wipe spills straight away and use coasters; keep the pieces out of long, strong sun Origin: Made in Vietnam Named after Jesi, a hill town above the Esino valley in the province of Ancona, in the Marche.
