The 3D Memory Crystal™ Rectangle for Him is a birthday, anniversary, Father's Day, or just-because gift that turns your favorite photo into a vertical block of K9 optical crystal. The Beyond Memories® rectangle is the classic portrait orientation - his image sculpted in three dimensions and laser-engraved inside the glass so it can be seen from every angle. Substantial weight, razor-sharp edges, and the engraving suspended in three dimensions - a gift that suits his desk, bookshelf, or den. Every Rectangle for Him starts with the photo you upload at checkout. Our design team in Henderson, Nevada reviews and enhances the image for laser clarity, our artists set up the 3D engraving model, and a 4K laser fires millions of microscopic points inside the crystal - building his photo one layer at a time from the inside out. Hand-polished, inspected, packed in a gift-ready box. Real artists, not algorithms. 100% K9 optical crystal - lifetime clarity, scratch-resistant, never fades Rectangle portrait orientation - the gallery-style framing for vertical portraits 4K laser engraving - millions of refractive points etched inside the crystal volume Expert photo enhancement included - we touch up exposure, color, and background Five sizes from Small to Max - pick by display surface and gift intent Standard or 4K HD engraving - HD gives finest gradient detail Compatible with the Memory Light Base for illuminated display Premium gift-ready box included at no extra charge U.S.-based support team - real humans, not a chatbot Perfect for every milestone in his year The Rectangle for Him lives at every milestone in his calendar - his birthday (a candid that captures who he is), your anniversary (the couple portrait or wedding photo), Valentine's Day (a defining couple moment), Father's Day (a family portrait or candid with the kids), retirement (a photo from the role he's leaving), and just because (the candid from last weekend, gifted out of nowhere). The rectangle's vertical format suits portraits of one to two people; for the heart silhouette, see the Heart for Him. How the personalization works The engraving is built inside the crystal, not on its surface. After you upload his photo at checkout, our design team reviews it and enhances it for engraving clarity - sharpening detail, balancing exposure, simplifying busy backgrounds where helpful. We convert the photo into a 3D model that maps to the rectangle's dimensions. The 4K laser leaves microscopic refractive points at exact depths inside the K9 glass, forming his image with lifelike volume. The engraving sits suspended in the glass - visible from the front, faintly visible from the sides, glowing softly from below when paired with a Memory Light Base. What photo works best The rectangle favors vertical portraits - a clear portrait of him solo, a candid from a shared adventure, a defining family or couple photo. Clear, well-lit photos in JPG or PNG format (ideally 2,000 px on the long edge or larger) give the sharpest engraving. Avoid heavy filters, low resolution, or shots where his face is small in the frame. Plain or softly-blurred backgrounds engrave with more depth than busy ones. Our design team reviews every upload and will reach out if a photo needs to be re-cropped or replaced. What's in the box Your crystal ships in a premium gift-ready box - a navy presentation box with the Beyond Memories wordmark in gold, a soft microfiber pouch for cleaning, and a printed care card. The crystal is nested in custom-cut foam to survive transit. If you add a Memory Light Base at checkout, it ships in the same box with its USB-C power cable. Crystal care K9 optical crystal is scratch-resistant and water-safe - the engraving is locked inside the glass, not on its surface. Wipe with the included microfiber cloth to remove fingerprints from the edges. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, which is the only environment that can dim a 3D photo crystal over a span of decades. A drop of dish soap in warm water is safe for occasional deeper cleaning. The crystal pairs naturally with any indoor surface - mantel, nightstand, bookshelf, console table, or display cabinet. Production and shipping Standard production is 1-2 business days from photo approval. Faster shipping options are available at checkout for time-sensitive gifts. Orders placed before 9 AM PT begin production the same business day. U.S. shipping is 3-5 business days via UPS, USPS, or FedEx. International shipping via UPS, USPS, FedEx, or DHL depending on the destination with rates calculated at checkout. Add a cutoff date in Special Instructions and our team confirms timing before production starts. Frequently asked questions Which size should I pick? Small for a desk or nightstand; Medium and Large suit a mantel or den shelf; XL and Max are showpieces for an office console or grand-room display. For an office desk, Small or Medium fits naturally without dominating the space. Does the crystal need a light base? No - the engraving is visible in normal indoor light. A Memory Light Base adds gentle illumination from below and is especially nice for office or den display where evening lighting is dim. Can I add a name, date, or short message? Yes - add it in Special Instructions at checkout (no extra charge). Names work well below the portrait; dates engrave cleanly in the corners. Standard vs 4K HD engraving? 4K HD packs about 50% more dots - finer gradient, smoother skin tones, sharpest at close viewing. Standard is excellent for most photos. Is the Rectangle for Him a good Father's Day gift? Yes - commonly ordered for Father's Day with a family portrait or photo with the kids.
