Airline luggage measurement worksheet
Check luggage against the airline and fare you have actually booked or are considering. Record each flight segment, the operating airline and the relevant baggage option before copying the current allowance from the airline’s official page. There is no preset allowance in this worksheet.
Measure your own packed bag using the airline’s stated method and record protruding parts such as handles or wheels where that method requires them. Keep size, weight and number-of-bag conditions separate. If a booking or connection has different rules, keep a separate row rather than carrying one flight’s allowance across the whole journey.
This tool does not save your entries automatically. Download a copy to keep your work, and clear the worksheet on a shared device before leaving. Do not enter passwords, account numbers or other sensitive personal information.
Using your worksheet
- Use the operating airline and selected fare, not a generic cabin-bag label.
- Repeat the allowance record if a return or connecting flight differs.
- Recheck the current official allowance before travel and resolve uncertain dimensions with the airline.
