Small-space laundry planning worksheet

Map a normal laundry week using the facilities, space and equipment you already have. Record where clothes wait, how washing is booked or timed, and where items can be dried and stored according to their care instructions. This helps identify a practical bottleneck before adding another appliance or airer.

Measure the space available when equipment is both in use and put away. Keep observations about your own routine separate from claims about drying speed, energy use or health. If you compare a new appliance, record the exact model’s instructions and any unanswered installation questions rather than assuming it will solve the problem.

Entry 1

Decide the remaining need

Use the trial to define a measured gap.

Using your worksheet

  1. Use garment labels and the appliance’s official instructions for operation.
  2. Trial the planned sequence with existing facilities before deciding what to buy.
  3. Record measured times only for the conditions you observed.

Assumptions and limits

No claims are made about health benefits, drying speed, moisture removal or appliance efficiency.

The worksheet is not ventilation, mould-treatment or appliance-installation guidance.
