Subscription-total worksheet and calculator
Work out a subscription’s cost over a number of whole months you choose. Enter the introductory and renewal monthly rates separately, together with the number of months at the introductory rate. This keeps the opening price from being applied to months that would be charged differently.
The result uses the two-rate monthly schedule you enter, plus setup and assumed exit charges. It does not predict future price rises or cancellation conditions. Copy the current provider wording into the notes, and treat any annual billing, part-month charging or additional price stage as a limitation of this calculation.
This tool does not save your entries automatically. Download a copy to keep your work, and clear the worksheet on a shared device before leaving. Do not enter passwords, account numbers or other sensitive personal information.
Using your worksheet
- Use monthly billed plans and a whole-month horizon only.
- Record the introductory period even if it extends beyond the chosen horizon; only months inside the horizon are counted.
- Check minimum term, renewal rates and any exit charge against the provider’s current terms.
- If a further price change or another fee is not represented, label the result as a partial estimate.
Assumptions and limits
Monthly billing, two unchanged rates and no proration are assumed.
No automatic cancellation, sign-up or reminder is created.
Setup and exit charges are user-entered scenario amounts, not asserted provider fees.
