Check the complete connection between the device you own and the accessory you want to add. Record exact model numbers, ports, required functions and power requirements from current manufacturer documentation. A connector that looks similar is only one part of the comparison.
Use one row for each connection or dependency, including cables, adapters, software versions and any required service. Keep confirmed support separate from an assumption or an unanswered question. If the manufacturer’s wording does not establish the intended combination, record what you need to ask before buying.
