From the video description

The standard UK Personal Allowance for the 2026/27 tax year is £12,570. This clear beginner guide explains what the allowance means, how it interacts with taxable income, and why some higher earners may receive a reduced allowance.

The Personal Allowance is reduced by £1 for every £2 of adjusted net income above £100,000. Income Tax bands differ in Scotland, so always check the rules that apply to you.
