From the video description
Buy Now Pay Later and credit cards are both forms of borrowing, but their repayment structures, interest, fees and consumer protections can differ. This UK guide compares them without assuming that either option is automatically “good” or “bad”.
You’ll learn: • How BNPL instalments and credit-card balances work • What happens if a payment is missed • How borrowing may appear on a credit report • When interest and fees can apply • How Section 75 protection differs by product and purchase
From 15 July 2026, qualifying third-party BNPL agreements are FCA regulated and can receive Section 75 protection; retailer-provided schemes may be treated differently. Always check the agreement.
